have any idea of the stock CFM of these carbs? i got a 785cfm or something from a 80s 350 chevy carter that looks the same and it might bolt right on.

maybe it wont looks more like a quadrajet from the chevy.

maybe a edelbrock will fit the hearse.

is anyone positive the windshields are different between a cad car from 1959 and a 64 mm cad hearse?

heres a couple pictures i put togeather, i cant tell where they are different.

You can't see difference in those windshields??? Not the windshield slopes between cowl to roof in side profile? Or wing window heights?

This has been covered many times previously. Here are windshields Cadillac used in '59-'60 from shortest to tallest:

              1. Convertible and flat top.
              2. Coupe DeVille and Sedan DeVille.
              3. Series 60 Fleetwood.
              4. Series 75 limo and commercial chassis.*

*Used on '59-'64 CC (and '65 limo), including your car.

You just compared the second and fourth tallest windshields in that pic. Hope this helps answer your question.

Not individual heights off hand. As mentioned in other thread, there is less than 3" total from 1st through 4th windshield height.

anyone know what bolt pattern these cadillacs are? i am hoping its the same as the 60's 70's gm muscle cars, since i see allot of them rims laying around, if not, whats it gonna take to convert it? i was also thinking of converting it to 8 on 6.5 1 ton pattern as theres lots of rims for that and i already have some. and a rear axle i could swap in.

this may be a dumb question, but why are the rims on cadillac hearse reversed looking? is it an offset thing? normal rims the welds and rivets are inside.

                              Normal rims are not riveted.

Rivets designate commercial chassis wheels to handle additional vehicle weight. (If you do want to swap them, be certian to check maximum weight capacity of other wheels before doing so - unless potential catastrophic FAIL is desired.) Cadillac first started playing with reversed inner lip/rivets on '59-'60 star wheels. (These are very uncommon, 90%+ were still 'normal', with rivets on reverse.) '61 was first year all commercial wheels flipped to having rivets on outside.

Interestingly enough, standard Cadillac hubcaps fit both standard and CC wheels - so outer lip remained constant throughout.

might just stick with stockers and get some hubcaps then. or do 1 ton truck rims and convert to 8 lug.
