On your wire (since you say they are all white) check them thoroughly to see if they have writing on them. Most of the time, each wire has a printed number on the insulation about every 6 inches. This number will be your indicator the origin (fuse, switch). If they don't have markings as such, your next best resource would be a telecom probe (sniffer) to make the tracing process go a hell of a lot faster.

Trust me, I know this pain all to well since my fleet is very heavy with ambulances and I like for everything to work.

Ill have to check into that. Mine has the switch panel in the roof that has Rear Heat, Rear A/C, Rear Dome Light, Beacon, Sirens, and probably more that I cant remember of the top of my head. I never knew it had the sirens still on it (under the front bumper) Until about three years ago when I had her on the lift doing some exhaust work.

I live about a hour West of Baltimore. I live in the Redneck Country lol as you can tell from my huge ass lifted Chevy in the background lol. Baltimore is 70 miles down I-70 from me. I actually need the piece of stainless trim the separates the vinyl top from the paint on the back door, the original steering wheel, and any other parts even if I dont need them. lol. You can never have enough extra parts. Im actually trying to sort through the wiring mess the idiotic cuts cut and all kinds of shit that go to the beacon, sirens,ect in the headliner but thats almost impossible without a wiring diagram because all the wires are white...

Just noticed MD plates. If you're anywhere near Baltimore, I'll be in the area this weekend picking up yet another hearse.

Psycoholic Thanks. Its originally supposed to be blue and white with a red beacon light on top. After the hospital retired her from service a funeral bought her and painted her all black. They retired her some years later and a private owner bought her. The young kid who bought her cut the rear brake lines so the could do massive burnouts, they put a chain steering wheel on, gay ass wal-mart spinner hub caps and stickers all over her. After they neglected her they parked her in a field to rot. My father was a Cadillac collecter. We was out riding around looking for old cars to buy, restore, and then sell. We was on top of a mountain on some back road we have never been on. I was 12 years old at the time and spotted a old cars front end poking through the bushes. I told my dad, we turned around and went back. We pulled in the driveway and the house was for sale and looked like Grizzley Adams lived there. There was cars, car parts, tow trucks, panel trucks and all kinds of stuff every where. My father was like thats not a Cadillac son, thats a Oldsmobile. We knocked on the door and a guy answered the door. My father asked if the Olds was for sale and he said everything was for sale cause he was moving. My father then asked if it ran. He chuckled and said "Yeah, she runs....pump it twice." We walked through the waist high grass to the bushes and he was like "Oh wow, its a station wagon.......NO ITS A HEARSE!!" At first I was terrified. Then after he pulled it out and had it running I instantly fell in love with the hearse. My father and him did some negotiating and he said congrats you just went halves on this car with me. its gonna be a father son project. He paid $375 total for the car and I only ended up paying $175. We got the title and came back 3 days later with tags and drove her down the mountain. We then pulled over, my dad threw the hubcaps in the woods and then we were on our way. The way you see this car is the way we got it. No repaint, no body work, no nothing. The only thing we have done to her in the 10 years its been in my posession it put 80's Buick Grandmaster wagon wheels on it (whitewalls were painted red and im in the process of getting it off) A new vinyl top which was done for free by my dads upholstery guy because he loved the car so much and said as long as we advertised it at car shows for him it would be free, a starter, new brake lines and fuel lines (which we did right after we got it and I was beside my dad doing it) your typical tune ups and oil changes, new fuel pump, new sending unit, and a new Holley carb and A LOT of cleaning. Believe me, she didnt look that good when we got her. This car did alot of bonding for me and my father. We did and I still do to this day parades, haunted houses, car shows and everything. This car means the world to me. It has so much sentimental value. Plus they are kinda rare from what I hear. This car will be with me till I die and hopefully my son (6 months) will enjoy it as much as I do. I am actually going to buy a 1971 C/B that isnt a combo for my wife within the next 2 weeks. I love hearses but especially Olds because you dont see them everyday. I have other pictures of it from the haunted house but no interior pictures at the moment. Once I get a chance to get to the garage Ill pull her out and take some. Thanks for reading my book here and showing so much interest in my car. It would make my dad proud.

Me and my father went halves on this car ten years ago when I was 12 years old. We paid a total of $375 for it and drove it a hour home! Its been one of my favorites since. My father passed away 3 years ago. She just rolled over 100k miles when I was putting her away for the winter. She has the 455 Rocket. Currently looking for parts. Any pointers in the right direction would be awesome
